Fourth Day of Christmas Throughout history there have been countless people who wanted to be god. If we would only let the one true God be God. Why does it continue? The evil one lures us through pride - power, lust, and riches. Many fall to the point they will do anything for more. Humility doesn't hurt anyone. Alleluia!
Second Day of Christmas. Family goes beyond biology. Joseph wasn't Jesus' biological father, yet he was still Jesus' earthly papa. We lose sight we are one big family with One Father. We are no more or less dysfunctional than the typical biological family. We may not like what our brothers or sisters are doing, but we must love and respect them. Alleluia!
First Day of Christmas Jesus Christ is here! Heaven and earth have met. The old ways are just that. Now, there is a new way. The question we need to ask ourselves this day is, "Have we or Will we meet Him where we are and accept the gift of His way?" Merry Christmas! Alleluia!
Focused on Jesus we begin to see - what is truly important. We become friends, servants, students, brothers and sisters. Jesus becomes our best friend, master, teacher, brother, Lord and God. Our journey is easy because our burden is light. Love, peace, and joy add no weight because they are received and given unceasingly. Alleluia!
Allow the light to draw you in, closer and closer for the next 3 days. Try to minimize worldly distractions. Stop worrying about the things you didn't get done. Be thankful for what did get done. Spend as much time as possible with loved one. Listen to the classic Christmas Carols. Eat and drink the traditional foods and beverages that warm soul. Alleluia!
