Real life is messy! And what complicates our realization and acceptance of that fact is all the distractions (TV and movies for example) which create delusions of how our lives should be. If you want a reality check read from the Old Testament. You'll quickly realize your life isn't so bad. Amen.
When we allow ourselves to properly prepare for the Sunday Mass we will note a change in our heart after the Liturgies of the Word and Eucharist. Our Triune God can and will instill an inner peace, quench our thirst, provide answers to prayers and questions. We just have to make ourselves available. Amen.
Jesus Christ has given us the power to heal others. No, we can't fix broken bones, restore sight, or raise the dead. But we can help mend other's hurting or injured soul through a genuine smile or words of encouragement. Alleluia.
We are all going to meet Jesus Christ face-to-face before or after His second coming. Since we don't know the time or day there is only one unanswered question: Are we prepared? Reconciliation and Daily Mass are such blessings. Amen.
