It may be a cloudy day; but I'm walking in the Light of Christ. That is more than enough to get me through the day. Amen.

Walk it off

Not so much literally. But "the muck" is over-whelming. We need to redirect and refocus to God. A walk in God's creation with a friend of faith is a powerful option. So too is 5-10 minutes of quiet and prayer. Amen.

Wading through the muck

We can't be focused on what's going on around us, but what is ahead of us. Jesus lifts and guides us to our destination. Stay close; keep your eyes on what He does and your ears to what He says. With Him all things are possible. Amen.

All day, Every day

God is there! He waits for us. His love for each of us is be-yond our understanding. He wants to help us with every-thing so we can make it home. Amen.

One day at a time

The reality is some of our brothers and sisters didn't wake up today; and yet here we are. We don't know today's purpose or if we will even fulfill it. We can only do our small part. God does all of the rest. Amen.

Game plan

Matthew 22:37-40 - "He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.” Amen.

Spiritual warfare

We try to fight the battles that are not ours; battles we cannot win on our own. It is too easy for us to become victims in the daily skirmishes. We just need to let God shelter us while He fights the war He has already won. Amen,

Peaceful heart

John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid." Amen.

Taking root

If we are to endure this world we must be well rooted in our faith. Then like a mighty oak we can withstand the storms and droughts. Like a tree that needs sunshine and water, we must be routinely fed with God's Word and Eucharist. Amen.

God gives us glimpses (experiences) of His glory. In our humanness we want to dismiss them as nothing. They are not. They are something that goes beyond our comprehension. Like Mary, take and keep them in your heart for all times. Amen.

Try it!

St Therese of Lisieux - “Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love.” Amen.

Lost in the lies

It seems everyone is trying to tell us "their truth." The only thing for sure is it gets real confusing fast. Jesus will always lead us to The Truth. Then the lies don't matter. Amen.

The challenge

None of this is easy! We must recognize we can't do it on our own. Jesus Christ is the only way. Amen.

Keeps us focused (our eyes on the prize so too speak.) We human creatures are forgetful and the things of the here and now (which will fade away) catch our attention; and put us in a place we don't want to be. And this takes all of us (The Church). Amen.

Comfort zone

Following Jesus will take us out of our comfort zone. It will also leave us wanting more; and nothing less. Amen.

To build up. Not destroy. Our world and each other. God gave us His creation to care for, and enjoy. Amen.
